We all take a selfie. When we are bored at home, on the way to college, at the mall, at the movies and everywhere we go. We are a selfie-obsessed generation with our camera phones, smart phones and iPhone. The word selfie has just now been added to the dictionary and it's new to everybody. Selfie is a self potrait usually taken for social networking. But come to think of where it all started, it takes us back to 1839, Robert Cornelius, an american photographer, has recorded to have taken the first ever selfie.
He doesn't look that happy considering he was making history maybe because he had to stand 15 minutes in front of the camera to take the picture. Yes folks, a selfie took 15 minutes in 1839. But now we take 100s of selfies in 15 minutes with out digital camera and smart phones and update the best out of it to social networking. A selfie has an evolution from Robert's picture to a everyday thing.
